Galapagos Diving - An unmatched experience
|
|
The Galapagos Islands scuba diving experience has been chosen in the past by Rodale’s Scuba Diving as the world’s top all-around diving experience. Galapagos was chosen as the top spot in “Best Fish Life,” “Best Big Animal Dive,” “Best Advanced Diving,” and scored among the top as the “Healthiest Marine Environment” and “Best Value.” The waters around these islands are a paradise for divers who will surely encounter hammerheads, giant manta rays, whale sharks and many other marvelous creatures. Guests who book a cruise with us, have the opportunity to dive 2 to 4 times throughout their cruise in these magnificent waters.

Dive Guides & Safety
Our diving trips are conducted by our professional dive masters and instructors, under very strict safety norms. The average diving experience of our dive masters and dive instructors is over 18 years, with many of them having 25+ years of experience diving. |
 |
Beginner divers can start out at the easier dive sites and proceed to the more difficult ones as they acquire more practice. All our divers are always led by our dive masters or instructors. In all our dives our dive master will be diving with the entire group of divers. There is a recompression chamber in Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island for our guests’ safety. |
 |
Skill Levels
We offer diving for the following diving skills levels:
Beginners: Newly certified divers or divers with few logged (3 to 15 dives)
Intermediate: 15 to 50 dives logged with experience in cold water and with drift and wall diving.
Advanced: 100 dives or more logged with experience in cold water; drift and wall diving. |
 |
We offer great diving sites for beginners, intermediate and experienced divers, although the best dive sites tend to be the most difficult ones. Many of them have strong currents near vertical walls.
Note: Full diving cruises in Galapagos with Wolf & Darwin Islands are for experienced divers only. A minimum of an advanced open-water certification is recommended. Most of the good diving sites have strong currents, surge and cold waters. |
